Copyright & takedown

What this site is

DramaTime is an index. We do not host, upload, transcode, or stream video files. Every download button on this site leads to a file hosted by an unrelated third party. The subtitle files we generate are machine translations of English subtitle text and contain no video.

We do not control what is uploaded to third-party hosts, and we cannot remove anything from them. What we can do — and do — is remove the links we published to that material.

Reporting infringing material

Send a notice to [email protected]. A notice is actionable if it includes:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you own or represent.
  2. The exact URL on dramatime.me where the material is indexed — for example /drama/example-title.
  3. Your name, organisation, and a reply address.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices take longer to action. If your notice covers an entire series, list the series page once rather than every episode URL.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge receipt and aim to action complete notices within 48 hours.
  • Action means the title is unpublished: pages return 404 and all links to it stop resolving, immediately.
  • We do not put the material back. Repeat notices about the same title are not needed.
  • We will not disclose the identity of anyone who submitted a link unless compelled by law.

File hosts

If you want the file itself removed from the internet, the host is the party with the ability to do that, and each host has its own abuse process. We will not tell you which host a given file is on — we do not expose that information publicly — but a search for the filename will usually find it.

Counter-notice

If you believe a takedown was issued in error, write to the same address with the title, the reason, and your contact details. We will review it and, where appropriate, restore the listing.
